You are very welcome, Lee. You should know that the gentleman's card the Newberry has on exhibit, is for an African American male named James Phillips, born in 1899, in St. James, Louisiana. There is a photo of him on his Pullman employment card. Even if this is not your relative, you can see the archive contains very old employment cards, as he was an employee as early as 1929.
