An Afrigeneas Angel will be able to do a better job than I could. I have found more information on original death certificates, mainly because the names that were informants were on my research list, the date of death was much later than the 1960's and it gave me migratory patterns. I still go back to the death certificates I have on hand to confirm address, parents or spouses names. There's always something I didn't see in the past. Maybe the state you are looking at has ONLINE death certificates, ex. Mississippi Online Death Index. My subscription to Ancestry was started because I needed to find out names from 1930 on. I just do 3 month USA info. Times are hard, but you can only try. One other thing by becoming a member of a state genealogy society for 1 year, they will help you without charging extra to research records in that state and many send out quarterly news. Try this. It's always about money and this can get expensive.
