I am Etta Daniels, historian for Greenwood Cemetery, St. Louis County, Mo. I recently located the burial site of George Phillips (1824-1883). His headstone is intact and indicates that Mr. Phillips was a member of Ezel Lodge 1457 G.U.O.of O.F. Other inscriptions on his headstone include the triple links surrounded by the all seeing eye and the letters F.T.L. Mr. Phillips was also a member of Lodge #1 of the K of P. His headstone is a part of a very elaborate burial plot that has been buried underground (probably due to erosion) for over 40 years. I'd like to know more about Mr. Phillips and I'm also looking for Oddfellows in the St. Louis area who would be interested in helping me completely excavate his plot.
