I've got a George Erastus Jessup, who lived in Greensboro (b.1911 - d.2003). He was always known as Erastus, rather than, George. I don't have any of the other persons you mentioned.

This may be a stretch, but I've got two Estus Jessups, one (b. 1849) was the son of William Moore (b. 1825). The second Estus (b. 1880), was the son of the first, and he married Roberta Moore (b. 1895). I mention these because they are both uncommon names, and Estus might have been an early misspelling of Erastus or the name, Erastus, might have evoled from Estus.

All of these folk lived in the area of NC that includes Surry, Stokes and Guilford Counties. Good luck to you!
