Mr. Sam, I am a collector of American Civil War artifacts. I have a belt that is positively identified to a Mr. Casimere Sam of the 73rd U.S. Colored troops regiment. I believe this belt was worn by your ancestor and I would love to learn more about him, as this is one of my favorite artifacts.
