I have had a few, The latest one involved AFRIGENEAS researcher Melvin Collier's lineage. I frequent Afrigeneas chat room and one day I mentioned the fact there weren't many folks researching Tennessee in the chatrooms.
One day I decided to look at the PRECIOUS PHOTOS for anyone submmiting from TN. One photo of the Beckley family reunion caught my eye and to my surprise the photo of the reunion was taken in Pontotoc Mississippi, this was one of my areas of research. I followed several links of the ATLANTA BECKLEY CLUB to find out why they chose Pontotoc.
This led me to Mel Collier. It turns out that his relatives the BARR's lived, not just in the same neighborhood, but right next door to my relatives The GILMERS in 1870 in Pontotoc Mississippi! BUT WAIT..That's not all..... another descendent of the BECKLEY / BARR lines, Pastor Joshua Beckley of San Bernardino, for years has been a friend of my mother living in California... over 135 years later!
