I am researching Mary Hughley (wife of Zeak Hughley, no relation, ie cousin marrying cousin) Who are enumerated on the 1880 Census for Alabama, Tallapoosa Co.

Mary's Sister America Hughley married a Shepard Gilmore in 1870, and is listed on the Chamber Co. Alabama Census for that year as America Gilmer. I can find no records of her until 1900. The 1900-1920 census she is living in Chambers Co. Alabama. She died in Atlanta 18 March 1931.
