Re: Arne's post on Norway and PALMM

I'm seeking information to help me piece together where some of the people in the Amite, Copiah, and Pike county areas of Mississippi were before living in the Barnwell District of South Carolina. They migrated to Mississippi from South Carolina.
Although, I have Italian (Sicilian) as part of my tree, I don't believe Trotti to be an ancestor. Trotti was born in Italy and was of Italian descent. His ancestors lived in Prussia and in Switzerland before retuning to Italy. Trotti was recruited in Minorca, Spain by Doctor Andrew Turnbull who wanted to develop a multiculture settlement in East Florida.
The Minorcansí contract with the British colonizers came under the Indentured Servant Law. Each was to serve 6 to 8 years and at the end of that time, would receive 50 acres of land, plus 5 acres for each child.
Turnbull was arrested for failing to meet financial obligations. I believe the governor was named Patrick Tonyn. I do not know the year. Tonyn may have been a governor under the British.
Trotti migrated to Charleston, South Carolina around 1776 because of mistreatment by the Spanish Govenor. What was the mistreatment?
