Story of the fire read:
FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY DEC, 13,1926
One girl is known to have burned to death and two others missing in fire that destoyed the girls dormitory of KENTUCKY STATE INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL FOR NEGROES here early today.
Sixteen other Negro girls were injured, some seriously while jumping from the second and third story of the building.
The body of the girl was discovered in the ruins by searchers who were looking for the missing girls.
The dormitory, a three-story brick structure, was leveled to the ground by the blaze, orgin of fire is known.

LIST OF INJURED:
Virginia Foley, cut on head (slightly).
Addle Mae Greene, compound fracture of leg.
Lula Hunt, arm, face and leg bruised.
Mildred Springfield, neck and shoulder sprained, seriously hurt.
Omelia C. Bowen, leg broken.
Elizabeth Phillips, both ankles dislocated.
There are many other names.
I have not found, who I am looking for but there were other fires, I am still searching. Hope this can help someone else.
