Before Ancestry.com had the North Carolina birth and marriage section, I remember only the first name of a certain cousin of mine, then suddenly I discovered that her first name really was her middle name. Another discovery was really serious. In the N.C. birth records there was listed a name Creola Elizabeth Timms born February 1953 died March 1953, born to Jaygo and Jean Timms. Now here's the clincher, I grew up four children of my sister, and this is all I knew at the time, and I would not have known anything because i lived in D.C. When I questioned my nephews and nieces recently, guess what, they had no idea that their mother was even pregnant. All they knew that she had to go to the hospital because she was sick.
