Thank you for the memories.
That day a girl friends father, who was a preacher, made a lot of signs and dropped groups of us teenagers from Arlington VA off in Washington DC. We then had to walk to the monument. I remember experiencing so many emotions during that time and feeling very proud. It was certainly a time of expectations. As a member of the Black United Front I had done a lot of talking. As a member of the march we made a united statement with our presence.
