My most interesting discovery is to find out my grgrgrandmother, Adalade, was from Sierra Leone, West Africa by way of a DNA test. I am a direct line member. I 1st found my ggrgrandmother, Lucy, in MS 1880, but couldn't locate her before that time period. It was stated on the census that she was born in Mississippi. When the 1930 census was published, it stated she was born in SC. There she was at 17. I had the information all alone when I did a search for the 1st name, but the last name never came up due to misspellings. I now know I am a African descendant.
