You're probably right about Cudjo Fye being Seabron's brother. On 1870 censu Sebern/Seabron is listed with wife Gracie and their children as family #375. Family #376 is Lisbon Fye (Seabron's brother?) and his family. One of Lisbon's sons is named Cudjo, 12 years old. Possibly named after his uncle.

What kind of insurrection did Cudjo lead in 1870? Slavery had already been abolished so it couldn't have been to obtain freedom. I'd be interested to know.
