Re: Can't Find Death Certificate in PA.

Denise,

Thanks for your suggestions, however, I have no other info on my great aunt, church attendance or friends, etc. Her brother Cecil Jones was buried at Mt. Lawn Cemetery in 1934. The undertaker was Jernsie(?) Morris at 717 S. 19th St. She signed the death certificate as Sara Seeney so I am assuming that she used that name in all transactions even though she was born Jones/Scott. However, if my grandmother was the informant she may have used the name Jones.

I didn't know about Eden Cemetery and will call them next week to see if they give info by telephone. Are there any other primarily Black- interred cemeteries in that area? I believe if I could get a date I might have a better chance of getting a death certificate.

Aurelia
