Re: Newton, NC/Lancaster, SC- Stinson
In Response To: Re: Newton, NC/Lancaster, SC- Stinson ()
Hi C Bego, It's nice to hear someone else is researching the Stinsons in the area. Yes, Lizzie and Samuel are very familiar names in my search. Here's the info of John Stinson Death Cert:
Though the years I have collected every piece of paper with the Stinsons name. My office/bedroom is overwhelmed with research info. You might be interested in attending the camp meeting in Lancaster, I think it is the first week of September. The Stinson of Lancaster have a great influence of organizing this event. I'm planning my vacation this week, this mystery is getting on my nerves, I need new clues of living relative to help glue the pieces together. I pray you are the glue. The will of William Stinson, I might have to snail mail this info. My scanner is shot. My computer crashed several months ago, I losted the histories I created for Samuel, Monroe Sr, Monroe, Tim, Ernest, John and Janie Stinson of Chester, SC. Samuel Stinsons families moved to the Mecklenburg area by way of Chester/Lancaster/York/Mecklenburg counties. Oh yeah, do you know Pepper Bego? I will be working in Charlotte on Monday, if you lived in the area, maybe we could meet. I know in my heart, the Stinsons families living in Statesville, Charlotte, Concord, Salisbury and Winston-Salem are related to the Stinsons of Chester/Lancaster counties. Hope we can share info to create a new found family and history. Jill
