I'm from the Stinson family out of the Cornelius/Davidson, NC area - outside of Charlotte NC. I'm researching a missing link to my family's history. The only information that we have currently is that part of our family (a great-great...uncle) was sold into slavery into the SC area from the Mount Mourne/Mooresville (Iredell County) area. His nephew's name would have been Byfinue Stinson and his brother's name would have been Samuel Stinson. The were slaves of a Dr. Stinson in Mount Mourne, NC. My email address is csbego@alltel.net.
