Did you know that this index also has a death index also. While searching for Hondest Credle, I found him not being born, but deceased in the Hyde County Death Index tht was obtained through this NC birth index. Strange, but it clearly says at the top, Hyde County Death Index and list the person with his parents' names and his death date.
