African Americans of Salisbury,N.C. I am trying hard to create a family tree and right now it involves the following names: House, Crowell, Culbertson, Heilig, Miller, Robinson, Johnson. Morgan, Strawder. Those are the family folks. Among them are those I consider allied or those families that have been a part of Rowan County for many many years such as Stoner, Jackson, Roseboro, Poe, Hackett, Lancaster, Aggrey, Evans, Davis, Ponds, Melcher, and many more.
