Hi all! Well...I am back from my family tree trip and taking a small break for the summer. So...it is back to pulling my hair out researching my ancestors!

While I was in King & Queen County, VA, I purchased a book that clearly stated my great, great, grandmother Ida Lee Vessels, was a pretty popular midwife in that area. Since the trip, I have found more Vessels that I am related to and supposedly, this was a pretty big family on the "white" side and the "black" side.
