Margaret H. Ross was born on November 10, 1933 in Zebulon,Pike County, GA to Leila and Neal Hall. She graduated from David T. Howard High School in Adanta, Georgia in 1952. Margaret furthered her education at Bennett College in Greenville, North Carolina and graduated in 1956, receiving a B. A. Degree in Psychology and obtained the Master's of Art Degree on May 20, 1974 from Adanta, University.
From 1964 until 1970, Margaret worked as a Caseworker at Fulton County Department of Social Services. Margaret then began her teaching career at Bass High School, followed by Carver High School, Roosevelt High School, Smith High School, East Adanta High School and finally retiring from Southside High School in 1994.
She was joined in marriage to Limous M. Ross in April, 1962 and to this union four children were born: Joseph, Kenneth, Ann-Margaret and Judith.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Limous M. Ross and her son, Joseph Neal Ross.
She leaves to celebrate her life three children, Kenneth B. Ross, Ann-Margaret Ross and Judith Ross Harris; one grandchild, Joseph B. Harris; one brother, Emmanuel Hall and a host of family and friends.
Margaret helped to initiate the AfriGeneas Legacy Genealogy Group in Atlanta at Walton Apartment Homes in 2009.
