Forgive me, I'm having an incredibly hard time making sense of all this. I have more questions, about the people (mostly nameless in the original post), about the king in exile, the lawyer in England, the research done, etc. than the law allows for posting.

I also think this topic belongs, if anywhere, on the main forum.
There, you will find more historians and researchers in tune and ready to tackle this topic.
