Hi Petrie,

OMG, do you realize how long ago I wrote this original post here? How did you even find this post? How amazing.

When I saw your name my radar went up because I remembered that his mom's name was Petrie. So, I went to the census last night to see if I remembered correctly and I did. Here is Mr. T Willie, your dad and family:

I know that Mr. T Willie's sister in law, Flora Halton died in January of this year. I also remember that he had a niece named Barbara. Also, my brother took a photo of his home a few years before it burned down. I think he may have been sitting on his porch when my brother took the photo. I'll have to go look for the photo.

Mr. T Willie was the type of man that left you with a lasting impression. I still get a smile on my face when I think about how he taught us to read those book and how amazed the teachers were when they found out we could read when we started school.

Thanks for allowing me to go down memory lane on Mile Lane with thoughts of Mr. T Willie.
