I've read Lucy's Story and in the process of reading Between Two Suns. I highly recommend both books, the writing supports an excellent oral history, with strong supporting documentation surrounding the life of Hamilton's ancestors in Kentucky as slaves, contraband and then persons eventually becoming free as a result of the Civil War.
