My name is Anne and I am the co-founder of The Lost Colony Research Group. We are very interested in the family stories and histories of those of you who descend from the Native / African families coming out of Sampson Co. or surrounding areas. It appears that at least some of the colonists from 1587 migrated to the Sampson Co. area very early on.
