Is this the year that you submit a book proposal, or an article to a publisher?

Spell checks can help you to clean up your pages. However, spell checks are not the only resource for submitting pristine pages to a publisher.

The link below will take you to Ragan’s, which lists "Grammatical errors, apostrophe bans, misused punctuation marks, and a plea to use only one space after a period drew the most eyeballs this year."

It includes the root word "regard". One of my pet peeves verbal or written is "In Regards To." Ugh! "Regarding" is so much better.
