One of the books I have read is called Building Believable Characters by Marc McCutcheon. I say this b ecause sometimes we have to really dwell on the character or characters when we write stories, that a character is almost like some of us and of what some of us go through. Your main character may be a great person, however, even the main character has weakness as well as strength, the character has some backgrounds that are not brought out because he or she is afraid of doing so. Though I have mentioned the book above, there are lot more books concerning the characters that you bring about in writing your stories.
