I saw "Say Amen Somebody" many years ago when it ran on PBS. I still remember the two old curmudgeons, Dorsey and Sallie (?), disputing who did what. I will look for a DVD.

I have a CD by Ladysmith Black Mambazo which includes "Precious Lord." There is one section in the song where the leader talks about traveling "all the way from South Africa" to meet Dorsey, only to arrive just after he died. But he expresses his joy at being able to just see him lying in state "on his last day in this world."

Interesting how far that song has traveled.
