I am writing to give more information on my book, Pieces of the Quilt: The Mosaic of An African American Family. It is scheduled for release June 5, 2009. The book is a non-fiction narrative, African American History, and 250 pages (isbn# 1-4392-3585-6). In a week or so the price will be set, and I will make sure to post it here. My desire is to share what I have learned about how to document African American Family Histories. It is difficult because the majority of African Americans have some mixture other than African.

I want to give a shout out to my oldest son, Bruce, who designed the cover. It was quite a learning experiencing writing the first book (Notes And Documents of Free Persons of Color), and I made every attempt not to make the same mistakes.
