Hey Joseph: We have "talked" before. My home town is Concord, NC in Cabarrus County. My aunt's family lived on Crowell street and there were a couple of "House" families in Concord. As you know, Salisbury is in Rowan County which borders Cabarrus County. Also, we have a similar history, my g-grandmother was part Cherokee supposedly and married a (evidently) white man of Rowan County. Things were really mixed up back then with many things hidden from view.
