I hope I can cleary explain the type of site that I am searching for.
I have read through many of the postings here and did not find the answer. A Google search was not helpful.

I am/was a wannabe writer and have written many non-fiction stories about my family, my life and experiences. Some of them deemed good (by instructors/writing group members, etc). I had hoped to sell them but never really found a market for them. Now, I would just like to preserve them for posterity (other than in a dusty box, which they will probably throw out when I am gone). What I am searching for is an online site where I can store and have these articles preserved and read by any interested person. I thought of "blogging" but that does not qutie fit the bill; don't know what type of personal web site would be appropriate. I thought about putting them together and self publishing them, but as a retired senior, just can't afford it. All that to say, does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can publish my essays online for public view (while keeping my identity from public view)?
