Dera, I doubt NASA or any other organization plans to make blacks part of 'The Final Frontier', so to speak.

I am no fan of science fiction [outside of old series like 'The Twilight Zone'] and do not read it. I am glad to know, though, that there are black authors writing in this genre.

We are, indeed, moving on up! I think that eventually we won't feel uncomfortable doing what we do best. It was a reminder to me of how we compromise ourselves [without any help from other ethnic groups] when I read of the black science fiction writer's feelings when he attended a conference of science fiction writers.

Thank you for expanding my world even more with the knowledge that we do, indeed, have black science fiction writers.
