Call for Submissions

Beyond the Bus Stop™ is currently accepting submissions for a new book and possible use on the website. BTBS is seeking stories that are based on a moment that you were able to move past obstacles to pursue a dream, change careers, try a new hobby, have an adventure, help others, or achieve something out of the box! A great Beyond the Bus Stop Moment™ is one that inspires, encourages, and celebrates going beyond ordinary obstacles to experience something extraordinary!

Your BTBS moment can be about an experience that created a new perspective, a transformation, or a fresh outlook on life’s journey. It is up to you to decide your BTBS moment! Please share any lessons learned, positive changes, transformations or excitement that was experienced Beyond the Bus Stop™. (Think Chicken Soup for the Soul®!)

Currently, Beyond the Bus Stop is a website community for people who desire to experience an extraordinary journey by supporting and inspiring one another. The book will be an expanded version of what appears on the website. The book will share stories of all lengths and all styles of writing. Your BTBS moment can be expressed in a poem, essay, or short story. Tell us the story you want to share!

Submission Guidelines:

· Please submit your story to suzy@beyondthebusstop.com and also feel free to submit online at http://www.beyondthebusstop.com/submitStory.htm
· Material that is enthusiastic, inspiring and encouraging gets our attention.
· Our core audience wants ideas and information that inspires and motivates them.
· Write with courage. We find writers inspired by deep feelings and convictions put great passion into their writing.
· We want to hear from everyone that has gone Beyond the Bus Stop. If you're a new writer, you may be just what we're looking for and this may be a Beyond the Bus Stop moment for you! Create your mark!
· If you are confident and complete in yourself, we encourage you to try your luck with us. We are seeking writers that have a sense of self, that value their own ideas and are secure enough to put it in writing.
· NONFICTION only please. Include a digital photo of the moment if possible.
· Include all contact information when submitting your writing.

Compensation:
The author’s work that is included in the book will receive a copy of the book.
