Greetings. Can anyone recommend a good source describing the black exodus from the South ca. 1880? Which cities were affected most? I think my ancestors stayed instead of leaving. I want to describe my ancestors lives in the context of a major historical event like this one. Also, other major events affecting black agricultural life ca. 1890-1910, espcially in Dunlieth, MS (where Jimmy Reed was born in 1925), would be appreciated.
