In the spirit of constructive comments and criticism, as what I always ask for in my posts, I offer these thoughts.

When I have the urge to write, I get that first draft down as quickly as I can. Then if it's compelling I'll go through the actual structuring, editing, rewriting and refining.

I always keep that first draft handy as that's where the spark's at and I don't want to lose that during the refining phase. When I feel it's ready for public consumption, I post it.
Sometimes I misjudge and folks' comments send me back to the rewriting phase.
Now to your post:

First, we are visually presented with a big block of text. A good idea would be to break it up into paragraphs to make it easier to read (my 55 year-old eyes were struggling!).

I thought by your title that you were going to tell stories surrounding that particular reunion in 1975. I love stories, so you hooked me right away.
You gave hints to activities, events, and some of your research.
You mention family members, but you never really give the reader enough to work with.
Nearly every sentence begs questions and clarification.

I get the feeling that you miss the reunions and you're trying to draw your folks into a conversation that may rekindle an interest.
That, in my opinion, is a different focus or post; perhaps for discussion on the Reunions forum.

If you are really serious about writing, memoirs, family histories and all things publishable, I would recommend taking some writing courses at a community college or learning extension facility.
BTW, that bit of advice comes from my 80 year-old cousin who told that to me this past November. So that goes for me as well.
