Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful tribute to your father. I enjoyed reading about your special times with him. I sent my comments to you directly. You did a great job with the revised edition. I can just see you and your father walking down that street.

I've said it before and I will say it again, this forum should be full of such stories. As Writeaway said, sometimes we need to step away from all the data and write our family stories and our experiences. If we call ourselves writers, we should be writing regularly. I wish more people would use this forum to tell their oral histories and anecdotes, their childhood summers with grandparents and other relatives, their and their creative writing. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just send something in and if you want feedback, you can will get it. It's not easy to put yourself out there but if you don't take a chance, you have nothing. You will be surprised that the more you write, the more you want to share and we all get to benefit. Just think by posting here, your work is being published and you have something to share with your family. Soon you will have a volume of stories to pass down. I miss Regina's stories. Let's do this.
