You can always write a new story to submit. :-)

It occured to me that they evidently want "feel good stories" of which I have no problem. But it goes without saying that a great many African American's relationship witht the south may not always be pleasant. No political or controversial topics for this anthology. Do those of you who were raised in the south have bittersweet memories. Did your good memories outweigh the bad or vice versa? Would you find it painful to write about the painful memories?
