Did anyone write about those 18 African-American athletes who competed in the Berlin Olympics?

Does anyone have writings about their Ancestors who were a part of WWII that they would like to share?

Thanks to this post, I have another question to ask Uncle George, my namesake.

Vietnam was my war and 1968 was my Olympics. If I write about those events, I'll come to better understand and appreciate our involvements, contributions, and triumphs in those earlier campaigns. -And that leads to a better understanding of our history and what we are made of as a people.
