My name is Todd Cramer and couple of years ago I purchased an old Oil Well Drilling log at a garage sale and I see the name J Simmons mentioned numerous times in the log notes. The entry dates on the oil well drill log range from 1917 to a receipt made out to J.J. Simmons for the purchase of something that cost 50 cents dated 5-23-51. I don't know if this is related to the same Simmons family you are talking about.
