Glad you enjoyed and I'm glad that I could surface up some memories in you. Your grandmother sounded like a wonderful person and I love the photo. Yes, the cake was da' bomb! She also made the best gravy that tasted really good with those homemade biscuits.

I don't have a photo of Jessie Mama, but I'm working on getting one. I talked to her daughter today and she says that her niece called and told her about the story in the paper and she was going to send her a copy of it. She was surprised that I even remembered all of that stuff back then. She doesn't know that I can go back as far as two years old.
