If you need help with any historical details regarding the capture of the La Force family and their slaves I can provide you with all the details. I have hundreds of pages of accounts from the captives, letters of the captives, captors, and their descendants with other records talking about the capture.

The La Force family actually came to Kentucky County, Virginia in 1779 (now Harrison County, Kentucky) where they were captured. Some of the other La Force family members later went to Woodford County, Kentucky.
