Regina,

You took me back to when my family gathered together for thunder storms. I thought we were the only family who had that habit. My aunts and their husbands would leave their homes to come to my grandmother’s house which was a long double shotgun resting on brick stilts. Grandma’s son, my dad, and his family lived in the other side of the shotgun house. We would all gather in grandma’s bedroom which should have been the living or family room. I guess we all felt safer being together.

Thanks for bringing back the memories of being in a storm with family.
