I was very excited about this news. Late last year, an article of mine was entered into the 2006 Southern California Genealogical Society's Writing Contest. An e-mail was sent to me on Sunday, but I just read it today that I won third prize in that contest.

Below is an e-mail from the Southern California Genealogical Society informing me, that I was a winner of the third prize category.
