For example, if I were writing in my journal right now, here's what I'd write:

Dang...it's almost Christmas and we havent had ANY snow yet! This is unheard of. I hope we get some at least by Christmas eve.

This morning I took my friend's son Petey to the barber. He's seems to be in a much better mood than he has been in the last few weeks. I think he'll be ok. After we left, we stopped by McDonalds and got us some "nutriments" aka junk food. Then I dropped him off by his friends house and told him to page me and I'll come get him.

I've just got 2 more gifts to buy and Im THROUGH!
I might as well stop by the office and do some "netting" 'long as I'm out this way.....
