Thanks for your feedback regarding Dr. Philips' research on Black Europeans. I appreciate your comments. So many of your posts are centered on the appreciation of many cultures. Armed with a global understanding, we can write about our own African American culture and its "correspondance" with international history.

It pains me to read negative comparisons of other societies with our culture, religion, and history; especially when the words come from the African American community. Negative thinking shapes negative chronicles and confines us and our history to a cultural footnote.
