The people living in the areas, and those of us who have contributed only a token of help for those can truly appreciate the devastation of Katrina & Rita. What's reported on the news is merely a fraction of reality.

At this time I'd like to briefly say that my family & I have been transporting trailers for hurricane victims from Indiana to Mississippi & Texas. While many victims have been placed in shelters and hotels, nothing has been mentioned about those who have what's left of their worldly possessions packed AND living out of their vehicles, parking in rest areas and parking lots.

Thousands of trailers have been transported to various locations, however the progress in getting them set up for families to live in is slow. I can't explain why, but hopefully families will be placed in these temporary homes soon.

I'd like to express my condolences for those who have lost their loved ones, and pray that displaced survivors will soon be settled into a home soon.
