Chapter XII- Wetzel
Chapter XIII- Kenton
Chapter XVII- Girty
Chapter XVIII- Wayne's Scouts

These folks are all mentioned in documents surrounding events in the lives of my ancestors who where slaves of the La Forces and Girty's among others.

Wetzel (Whetzel) and Kenton are MAJOR icons in this area from around 1795-1815. Have documents of family involvement with both when they (family) settled in Ohio as FPOC's ca 1805.

As a matter of fact, Raymond Whetzel, a descendant of Lewis Wetzel who also had AA & NA 'roots' passed away this past Thursday at the age of 85.
