In a college English class I was told that lengthy quotes from another source should be avoided, if possible. Soooo, if you can reduce the two quotes to your own words, your family history will most probably be better for it. Believe me, I've been frustrated at times trying to follow that "rule," because sometimes it seems almost perfect the way it is, but for it truly to be yours, you should try.... (c:
