Thanks for sharing your family history. One correctional note----the grandfather of Jake Simmons was Cow Tom, (not Cal) who was a major interpreter, and leader in the Creek Nation. Cow Tom and his wife Amy are buried at the African Creek Cemetery in Boynton Oklahoma at Cane Creek Cemetery.

He and his wife, Amy Cow Tom are buried side by side, and their grandson Jake Simmons is close by. His headstone and a biography appears on this website:
