Thanks for the sage advice. I really like the idea of having an objective reader take a look. I recently found out about a family history writing group locally so I plan to make contact and may be able to find some help there. I feel I've learned alot about my family over the past few years and want to share what I've accumulated. Several relatives who have helped with with their oral histories have passed on and and didn't get to see the finished product that they contributed to. My dad will be 82 this year and his brother will be 94, so I think I need to move on and not let this be a constant work in progress. I figure I can always do updated editions as I learn more & continue to research. I didn't really think I had much option other than to self publish..didn't think there would be publishers interested in family history of "non-famous" types I'll keep Afrigneas posted on my progress.
