I read every thread. Very interesting! I was born in the Ramapo, Wyckoff Township. I went to a one room schoolhouse in Darlington. Almost all of my schoolmates came from either Stagg Hill or the Fyke Road. After completing fourth grade at Darlington, I went to Joyce Kilmer Elementary School, with my same schoolmates, in Mahwah. I lived on the Ridge Road during my childhood. Dory DeGroat and his family lived just across the road from me. I spent many hours with the DeGroats and have many fond memories of them and of the kids I went to school with.
